Steve DeMaria, a Pay Governance Consultant based in Los Angeles, has been advising clients across industries for ten years. Steve serves as an experienced project manager and partner to Boards, Committees, and management on a wide variety of consulting engagements covering compensation, incentive design, and broader corporate governance. Steve has worked for clients spanning from small private companies to the Fortune 100 and across multiple industries, including real estate, technology, retail, energy, financial services, and entertainment.
Steve earned a Bachelor's in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University and an M.B.A. from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
Prior to rejoining Pay Governance in 2019, Steve worked as a Consultant with Towers Perrin and Towers Watson and was part of Pay Governance's initial cohort. Steve also spent several years in the sports and entertainment industry, working in operations with the National Football League and the STAPLES Center and serving as the analytics consultant for one of the preeminent player contracts in (NFL) league history. During this time, Steve's research was published in Forbes.
