While at Cornell University, Mariana worked closely with Professor Shannon Gleeson to research existing policies and factors embedded within the American judicial system that hinder the protection of trafficked individuals in the United States. During her junior spring semester and summer, Mariana worked full-time for Tapestry Inc., as a Global People Organizational Development and Talent Acquisition intern. During her senior year, Mariana researched how CSR principles are included in executive compensation calculations. Additionally, Mariana is bilingual in English and Spanish.
